What Does It Take To Achieve Success
How many times have people asked you that ?
Well I know I get asked that question many times and my answer is aways the same. Show me your commitment, your desire to achieve success and commit to giving me one year in our business. Sounds simple but can you really give that commitment you see most people live their lives expecting instant success, yes you will hear of amazing success stories but the cold hard fact is that success takes time, once you understand that then your on the first step too success.. Ever heard the story of the penny's?
Two son's were called to their fathers death bed and offered either 1 million pounds or 1 penny doubled every day as their inheritance, both sons were sent away to think about and give their answers the next day. The first son elected to take the million but the second son decided to take the penny. The next day both sons awoke to find purses in their rooms one containing a million and the other 1 shiny new penny, on the next day the 2nd son awoke to find anther shiny penny in his purse and on the 3rd day 4 shiney Penny's were in the purse.Everyday the penny's doubled after 15 days the brothers met and talked about the offer their father had given them excited the first brother spoke about how he'd hired the very best investment bankers and that he hoped to make a profit on the million that his father have given him. The second son then told his brother that after 2 weeks his personal fortune had reached £81.92 shocked the first brother offered to help but the second brother quietly declined. Now a few days into the 3rd week and his fortune had increased to £655.36 still far short of his brothers million, but easily enough to keep him on the road for a week he joked. His brother begged him to go and see his father and ask him to give him his own million or if he insists prorating the amount, then even just half a million its better than nothing but the brother was unperturbed and whodunit hear of it, that night their father passed away in his sleep leaving the brothers with their choices.
At the end of week four the 1st brothers team team of investors had managed to increase his million to 1.6 million but after costs and commissions he had at the end of the month just short of were he had started.
In a panic he ran to see his brother to see how he had faired with his £655 and 36 pence but only received another shock. On the 28th day the brothers purse had passed the £1 million mark on day 29 the £2.5 million mark and by day 31 he was worth £10,737,418 and 28 pence!
You see what the above example shows is that if you give something long enough, follow a simple system then success becomes inevitable all you need to do is be persistent and consistent.
So do you know what it takes to be a winner and that success will not come overnight , you now understand that small mundane things done on a daily basis will bring you success, the secret been is to concentrate on activity and not results as results will come massively after time but that's after most people have decided to quit !
